We Are Waiting and Afraid...Again.

News of our scan came through...our babys heartrate has shown to be a little low.
This can indicate that things may not be well. We hope and pray that this little one will be ok.
We need to wait for a follow up scan in around two weeks.
This journey is emotionally exhausting. Others have walked a particulary difficult path as well, but we are truely being tested. We just wish for a little calm..for a time when things are cruising along without the constant nausea and worry of complications happening the other side of the world.
We are so looking forward to being parents. We just hope our wish will be granted.

A Heartbeat..Joy!

A late evening email delivered news of a scan and a heartbeat. Although fragile days, the presence of a heartbeat early on is a good sign. Our babys heartrate was 117bpm. Ive read before that the rate sometimes can indicate a boy or a girl. With a boys consistantly below about 130bpm & a girls being above 140bpm. Not that we have any favour between either sex- happy & healthly are our concerns. Yet, I am curious if this proved right for any of the new parents?
We were happy to see that our little one "gained" an extra few days on top of the seven days since the last scan, with the measurement gauging 6wks & 1day as of yesterday. Keep growing strong little baby xx
We look forward to another scan in the next two weeks or so, and in the meantime send our kindest thoughts and regards to our SM and our team- Thank You.

A Singleton !!

As our beta value indicated, its a single!

We hope and pray this little one decides to snuggle in for the long-haul. We are so happy to read about the many joyful births that have happened recently. Congratulations to all the new parents. It gives us hope that it can (and will) happen!

We look forward to the next few weeks. Athough they will contain vast amounts of waiting, patience(?), email-obsession and anxiousness, we are so incredibly happy to be at this point.
